Sailfish or Sea Kittens?

Apparently, the organization P.E.T.A (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has written a letter to Palm Beach Atlantic University asking the university to change their mascot from sailfish to sea kitten. It appears that it is not a serious request, but a publicity attempt to draw attention to a vegetarian lifestyle and about animal cruelty.

A sea kitten is a PETA invented character likened to a Little Mermaid character.

Why stop here? What would be your best mascot rename? How about the Chicago Pooh Bears? Or the Arkansas Piggly Wigglies?
